Why electric
A combustion UTV announces itself — engine noise and heat that can be heard and seen long before the vehicle arrives. The EVK enhances the UTV — near-silent movement, up to 15 kW of power export, instant acceleration, around one-fifth the thermal signature of combustion, and far fewer moving parts to maintain.
Range is the usual objection to electric tactical vehicles. The EVK answers it two ways: a modular battery sized to the mission, and an optional range-extender generator — so you decide how much of the mission runs silent.
What is in the kit
Motor, inverter, battery, thermal management, controls and harness — designed, built and integrated as one system, so nothing on the propulsion side is left for you to source.

Select a marker to see each component.
Modular battery pack
Mounted low in the chassis for a low centre of gravity. Capacity is set by the configuration you choose.
High-voltage harness
Cabling routed from the pack to the inverter and motor, built for the vehicle it goes into.
Inverter and controls
Drives the motor from the battery and manages the system.
Electric motor
35 lb, with 165 hp peak and 162 lb-ft peak torque in the reference build.
Belt drive and reduction
Connects the motor to the vehicle’s driveline on a machined mounting plate.
Also in the kit
Thermal management
Keeps the pack, motor and electronics in their operating window.
Range-extender generator (optional)
Recharges the battery to extend range beyond the pack.
Configure
The EVK battery is modular. Trade battery against generator run time to hit the weight, silent range and total range your mission needs — then send us the configuration.
Enough battery for a silent approach and time on station, with the generator for the drive out and back.
A relative comparison. Actual range and weight depend on the vehicle, terrain, payload and duty cycle — we size them to your mission.
In the field
The EVK installed in a Polaris RZR XP1000.
Track record

SPM has demonstrated vehicle-integrated silent power export to special operations forces on MRZR-class light tactical vehicles.
Presented alongside the defense mobility community, including TEVCON, with running prototype hardware rather than renderings.
Venture-backed specifically to accelerate dual-use military and civilian electric off-road powertrains.
